Store Fioricet in an area where the medication will stay below 86° F (30° C), keep in sealed container and away from the reach of small children and those that the medication is not recommended for.
As with any medication, taking more than the recommended dosage or mixing Fioricet with alcohol or any other brain system depressant, can and may lead to unconsciousness and even death. Those that overdose on Fioricet may be hit with heavy spells of drowsiness, confused/lost feeling, weakness, have hallucinations, inability to breath clearly, lack of clear speech, sense of direction is affected, blood mixed in vomit, and/or a slow heartbeat.
An overdose of Fioricet, or combining this medication with alcohol or other central nervous system depressant, may lead to unconsciousness or perhaps death. Those that have taken an MAOI (monoamine oxidase inhibitor) within the last 14 days should not consume Fioricet, as severe side effects could incur. When taken with other medications, such as antidepressants, alcohol, antihistamines, sedatives, pain relievers, anxiety medications, and muscle relaxants, severe side effects could possibly arise.
