Cholesterol Drugs May Prevent Stroke
 
A new study says a cholesterol drug may help stroke survivors. The study in the "New England Journal of Medicine" found that giving stroke patients high doses of statins like Lipitor reduced the risk of a second stroke. Experts say the results could change the treatment guidelines for some stroke patients. The study was paid for by Pfizer, the maker of Lipitor.
